About .life
.life is a generic top-level domain. IANA's root zone database lists Binky Moon, LLC, in care of Identity Digital Inc., as its sponsoring organization and gives May 8, 2014, as its registration date.
Its registry agreement with ICANN, signed in 2014 and renewed for a second term starting in 2024, says registration will be open to lawful registrants and eligibility will not be limited based on identity; it sets no residency requirement. Identity Digital may reserve names from registration and assigns some names to separate price categories. Under its acceptable use policy, the holder of a two-character name must take steps not to falsely imply an affiliation with the corresponding government or country-code manager, and a name may be suspended if its registration information is not kept accurate.
