About NameSale
NameSale is a marketplace for brandable domain names. We list domains, re-check their availability on a rolling basis, and guide the transfer after a payment is confirmed.
How listing states work
- Ready to buy — availability was confirmed within the last 7 days. These listings can be bought directly.
- Needs confirmation — listed, but the last availability check is older than that window. You can send an enquiry and we re-check before anything is charged.
- No longer listed — registered by someone else, or withdrawn. The page stays readable, but purchase actions are disabled.
The catalog defaults to the ready-to-buy view, and the state is shown on every card and detail page.
Catalog and search
Browse by keyword, extension, length, category and price. Filters run server-side, so the result counts you see are the actual number of matching listings.
Availability checks
Listings are re-checked on a rolling basis. A listing only becomes purchasable again once a recent check has passed.
Payment
Checkout is handled by our payment providers; the methods available are whatever they present. The total shown before you pay is what NameSale charges; we add no fee of our own.
Handover
After a payment is confirmed we register the name for you and email the handover steps. We can push it into your account at the registrar we registered it with; moving it to another registrar is usually locked for 60 days after registration.

Where instant checkout is not available, you can send an enquiry on the listing page and we reply by email.
