About .email
.email is a generic top-level domain. IANA lists its registry operator as Binky Moon, LLC, care of Identity Digital Inc. in Bellevue, Washington, and records its addition to the root zone database on December 19, 2013.
Registration is open. The .email registry agreement with ICANN, dated October 31, 2013, commits the operator to keep second-level registrations open to lawful registrants and not to limit registrant eligibility based on identity. Identity Digital's registries may reserve names from registration at any time, including names held for registry operations and names reserved to comply with ICANN requirements. A registration can run for up to ten years, and the registry blocks any change of registrar during the first 60 days after the initial registration.
